Hormuz specialises in disputes in the corporate sector with an emphasis on white collar crimes, penal laws and general corporate commercial disputes. He has recently been associated with several high-profile commercial disputes and white-collar crimes. Recently, he was involved in the quashing of a First Information Report of a CEO of a multinational bank before the Supreme Court of India.
Hormuz has extensive knowledge in corporate litigation including insolvency proceedings. He has also filed appeals before the Debt Recoveries Tribunal under the SARFAESI Act. He is currently involved with a number of commercial ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations.
He has been a part of various investigations by government authorities on behalf of leading multinational corporations. He advises various corporations on queries raised from time to time on regulatory, cyber and security issues.

Hormuz has been practising law since 2004. Before re-joining JSA, he undertook a short stint in counsel practice with counsel Mr. Aabad Ponda in the Bombay High Court. Prior to this, Hormuz was working in Dubai at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre and JSA Dubai.
