JSA assisted Glance InMobi Pte Ltd in its 100% acquisition of Gambit Sports Private Limited, which runs a real-money online gaming platform – NostraGamus.
This deal included detailed analysis and advice relating to online real-money gaming laws across each state in India. JSA analysed each game offered on NostraGamus to determine whether such games were games of skill or games of chance.
This was a cross-border deal which involved multiple parties and complex structuring.
JSA also advised on risk mitigation measures, especially in light of amendments to Karnataka’s gaming laws.
