Maitreyi deals with commercial (civil and criminal) litigation and arbitration. She advises and represents clients on complex arbitrations, litigations, white collar and regulatory proceedings.

Maitreyi has been awarded as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Forbes India and one among the top global lawyers by Lex Falcon, Dubai.

Her practice spans into various sectors including Intermediaries and Online Platforms, Healthcare, Real Estate Food & Beverages, Manufacturing, Fintech, Banks & Financial Institutions, Private Equity, Hospitality Chains, Transportation, Education, Technology and Media.

She has represented clients before Arbitral Tribunals (ad-hoc and institutional), Supreme Court, High Court, District Courts, Family Courts, Labour Courts, Real Estate Regulatory Authority, National Company Law Tribunal, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, District Courts and various quasi-judicial bodies.

Successfully represented about 130 plus Christian minority schools/ institutions in Bangalore and obtained favourable orders from the High Court of Karnataka against a change in legislation interefering with the tax exemption these institutions enjoyed.
White collar crime including forensic and internal investigations for anti-corruption and workplace whistle-blower complaints.
Advised and successfully represented leading hospital chains and government bodies in tender related matters in Arbitrations and before the High Court of Karnataka.
Advising leading e-commerce marketplace on regulatory compliances and representing it in litigations pertaining to Intellectual Property Rights, Legal Metrology and Civil Defamation.
Advising global and domestic companies and foreign shareholders in criminal proceedings initiated before EOW and Crime Branch against Indian promoter directors.
Succeeded in multiple shareholder dispute and real-estate related arbitration for a leading IT and manufacturing companies.
Appeared before the Singapore High Court and assisted a foreign law firm in leading evidence.
Successfully represented and objtained favourable orders for a leading automobile manufacturing company twice with respect to picketing and dharna/ protest by certain farmer organisations which blocked the ingress and egress of the factory.

Representing a major cab aggregator before the Karnataka High Court in a suit for removal of confidential information and disparaging comments hosted by an intermediary.
