JSA advised PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited (“PepsiCo“) in relation to Co-packer arrangement with Varun Beverages Limited (“VBL“) for manufacturing of snacks under the PepsiCo’s brand “Kurkure Puffcorn”.
VBL is a key player in the Indian beverage industry and one of the largest franchisee partners of PepsiCo (outside USA). VBL is engaged in manufacturing and distributing a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages in India under various brands of PepsiCo, including its packaged water and carbonated soft drinks. Through this arrangement, VBL will now also act as a co-packer for PepsiCo’s Kurkure Puffcorn under its food and snacks segment. This arrangement will further strengthen the long-standing business relationship between the parties.
