Anurag is part of the Corporate practice group of JSA, with more than 12 years of post-qualification experience. He specializes in M&A, private equity transactions and general corporate advisory.

Anurag has advised several marquee clients, both international and domestic, on a wide range of high-profile and high-value M&A and private equity transactions, across sectors such as e-commerce, fintech, retail trading, infrastructure, services, etc. He also has experience of working on some IBC and capital markets transactions.

Some of the key clients that Anurag has advised include ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited, GIC (Singapore), Blackstone, Ant Financial (Alipay), Alibaba Group, SoftBank Vision Fund, Edelweiss Alternatives, Nuvama Wealth Management Limited, BAce Fund, CDC Group, AXA SA, Redefine Capital, SSG Group and Avendus.

Anurag is an alumnus of Rizvi Law College, Mumbai, and is a member of Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, India.

Advised ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited on their acquisition of certain strategic ports, power and other support assets from the Essar Group.
Advised Nuvama Asset Management Limited on their strategic 50:50 joint venture with Cushman & Wakefield PLC through Cushman and Wakefield India Private Limited.
Advised GIC and QED on their private equity investment in OneCard.
Advised GIC on its private equity investments in Swiggy, Flipkart and EpiFi.
Advised Headsupfortails on their first round of institutional fund raise from Sequoia and Verlinvest.
Advised Alibaba and Alipay as selling shareholders in the Paytm IPO, and generally advising them in relation to the Paytm IPO.
Advised Alipay on secondary sale of their shares in Zomato pre-IPO, and advising Alipay in relation to the Zomato IPO.
Advised Alibaba on its investment in Bigbasket.
Advised Alipay on its investment in Zomato.
